An Indiana woman was arrested Tuesday for bedding a 15-year-old boy on several occasions since July, authorities said.
Amber Renea Williamson, 32, and the boy allegedly had sex in her apartment in Columbus and the garage of the boy's home, The News-Sentinel reported.
One time, the boyfriend of the teen's mom peaked through a garage window to see them in bed together, the arrest affidavit said.
The local newspaper said that police arrested Williamson near her home
and booked her at 1:31 p.m. Tuesday. She was released after posting
$10,000 bail, according to Brown County Jail officials.
Authorities say Williamson stayed in touch with the boy via Facebook,
text messages and at least one love letter that reads, "I want you and
only you in my life and heart."
A six-week investigation revealed this persistent contact with the boy
even after a court order demanded that she stop contacting him, police
said.
Williamson was reportedly charged with two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and one count of invasion of privacy.
She could face between six and 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000
fine for the sexual misconduct, as well as up to one additional year in
prison and a maximum $5,000 fine for the privacy charge.
Williamson has previous gotten in trouble with the law for driving under
the influence with a minor passenger and interfering with a 911 call,
according to the News-Sentinel.
Her court date has not been set.
