Looks like Jennifer, 23, may be defending Liam Hemsworth! In an interview during the ‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ premiere, she was asked about the example that Miley, 20, is setting for younger women — and you won’t believe her harsh response! Keep reading for more details.

Miley Cyrus twerked in a spacesuit with little people, sang in a crotch-baring unitard and lit up a suspicious-looking cigarette at the EMAs on Nov. 10 — and none of it sat too well with Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence! Even though the two stars are three years apart, Jennifer doesn’t agree with Miley’s behavior — and said that Miley going with the “sex sells” mentality is disgusting!

Jennifer Lawrence: Miley Cyrus’ Behavior Is ‘Disgusting’

Jennifer was asked about the sexualization of young women in the media — and more specifically, Miley’s recent raunchy behavior — on the red carpet during the Hunger Games: Catching Firepremiere in London on Nov. 11.
“It is a part of the entertainment industry that sells. Sex sells, and for some disgusting reason young sex sells even more,” she told BBC’s Newsnight. Burn! She didn’t name Miley directly, but her answer sure was specific enough.
Looks like she may be taking her pal and co-star Liam Hemsworth‘s side in his split from Miley — and slammed her even further by explaining why Miley continues to express herself the way she does.

Jennifer Lawrence: Miley’s Raunchy Antics Make The Singer ‘Feel Sexy’

“For some people, that’s how they feel best, that’s how they feel sexy,” she stated.
You probably won’t see Jennifer twerking in a unitard anytime soon, then! She also said that she will make “conscious decisions” to be a role model to young girls in movies where a younger demographic is her main audience.

“I think [Katniss Everdeen] a wonderful role model for young girls. I’m happy that they have a character like that,” Jennifer said.
Miley is one fearless gal — but J-Law is a serious force to be reckoned with, too!
